Objective of the training course
The goal of the neurosurgery training course is to acquire basic knowledge about neurosurgical disease, which implies knowledge of the neurological and clinical manifestations of neurosurgical pathologies, their accurate and timely diagnosis, and the basic principles of treatment.

Learning outcome / competencies
After completing the neurosurgery course, the student should have the ability to diagnose common neurosurgical diseases in the pre-hospital stage, to eliminate immediate threats to life, to provide step-by-step treatment of diseases and, if necessary, safe transportation. Also, a graduate of a medical university, i.e. a doctor of a general profile, should know the early and late complications after neurosurgery, in this regard, he should have knowledge of the basics of ambulatory supervision of a number of neurosurgical diseases.
